SAA Voyager Women's Month Competition

Terms and Conditions

  • Eligibility:

    • - The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 years or older.
    • - Employees of South African Airways (SAA), their immediate family members, agencies, contractors, and anyone directly involved in the administration of the competition are not eligible to enter.
    • - Participants must be registered SAA Voyager members. If you are not yet a Voyager member, enrol for free at Join SAA Voyager before entering the competition.

  • How to enter

    The competition will be promoted on SAA's official social media platforms:

To enter:

  1. Comment on the Women’s Month competition post on our social media platforms and tell us:

    • Who inspires you;
    • Why she deserves to be celebrated; and
    • Where you would travel together if you won.

  2. Tag the woman you are celebrating in your comment.

    • Only one entry per person will be accepted.
    • Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

  3. Competition Period

    • Opening Date: 9 August 2026
    • Closing Date: 31 August 2026 at 23:59 SAST
    • Winner Announcement: 10 September 2026

    Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

  4. Prize

    • One winner will receive 1 Million SAA Voyager Miles.
    • The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
    • Any taxes, levies, fees, surcharges, or additional costs associated with the redemption of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
    • Voyager Programme Terms and Conditions apply to the earning, validity, redemption, and use of Voyager Miles.

  5. Winner Selection and Notification

    • The winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries received during the competition period.
    • The draw will be conducted fairly and impartially.
    • The winner will be announced on SAA's official social media platforms on 10 September 2026.
    • The winner will be contacted via direct message (DM) on the social media platform through which the entry was submitted.
    • If the winner cannot be reached or fails to respond within 48 hours of notification, SAA reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

  6. Publicity

    • By entering the competition, participants consent to SAA using their name, image, social media handle, and competition entry for promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes without further compensation.

  7. Data Protection

    • Any personal information collected in connection with this competition will be processed in accordance with SAA's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

  8. General

    • SAA reserves the right to amend, suspend, postpone, or cancel the competition and/or these Terms and Conditions at any time should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
    • Any amendments will be communicated through SAA's official communication channels.
    • SAA accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete, corrupted, or otherwise not received due to technical or other reasons beyond its control.
    • SAA shall not be responsible for inaccurate information supplied by any third party in connection with the competition.
    • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
    • Any disputes arising from the competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

  9. Limitation of Liability

    • To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAA shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or claim arising from participation in the competition or the acceptance, use, or redemption of the prize.
