This month South Africans celebrate Women’s Month, acknowledging the significant role that women have played and continue to play across every aspect of society. Voyager’s invitation to everyone in August is to use this month to admire, appreciate and acknowledge the women close to us. The team at Voyager want to thank all South African women, and especially the women who are part of the Voyager programme.
September is not only the official start of Spring (and the month that we bid farewell to those chilly days and long nights); but it’s also the month that we celebrate the richness and diversity of our South African heritage. As we head toward September 24, Heritage Day, we look forward with many of our country-folk to spending the day with family and friends around the braai fire, celebrating who we are as a nation and acknowledging that unity in diversity remains one of the finest ways to celebrate being a South African.
