By initiating a partnership with South Africa’s flag carrier as a new client, the delivery showcases CALC’s dedication to expanding its presence across the African continent and illustrates a truly globalised business, especially within the southern hemisphere.

South African Airways (SAA) have appointed Tourvest Retail Services (Tourvest) to provide retail products, together with the associated services and technology solutions, through onboard offering. A digital e-commerce pre-order solution is also being planned and will be launched in the coming weeks.

This retail service will be introduced on all SAA’s regional and international routes and will include the Perth route and other destinations as the network expands.

The duty-free inflight shopping experience is showcased in the “EXTRAORDINAIR” duty free shopping magazine, boasting luxury fragrance brands at affordable prices, as well as cosmetics, watches, costume jewellery, electronics and more.

Together with Tourvest, we aim to elevate our retail offerings, to ensure that every journey with SAA is not only seamless but also memorable.

Please take note of the below accrual structure change for flights booked on Emirates operated flights effective 1 July 2024.

Scandinavian Airlines will be leaving Star Alliance effective 1 September 2024, which means your Star Alliance benefits will no longer be applicable when flying on SAS services as of this date

Voyager members will be able to earn miles for flights booked on Scandinavian until 31 August 2024. No miles will be earned from 1 September 2024.

Star Award tickets booked and ticketed on SAS services must be utilized by 31 August 2024.

Global companion tickets will be extended for a further 12 months, alternatively the Global Companion ticket can be converted to two domestic Companion tickets. Please forward your request to companiontickets@flysaa.com.

We are delighted to inform you that you can print or save your digital Voyager card from our Voyager website.

Sign in with your Voyager number and pin, select digital card, and choose the print or save option.

Please be reminded that Voyager award seat allocation on partner airlines is capacity controlled. This means that only several seats are allocated on flights by the airlines based on demand, and therefor might not be available, for your requested flight dates.

To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you:

• Book your flights well in advance specially during peak seasons.
• Be flexible with your travel dates.
• Ensure that you travel on your booked dates, as changing your reservation might result in seats not being available.

Remember, you can spend your miles on our Star Alliance carriers and our other Airline partners inclusive of Emirates, GOL, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia.

Please note that the additional baggage benefit for Voyager Elite members does not apply to hand luggage, hand luggage is limited to the below specifications.

For over two decades, SAA Voyager has been a steadfast supporter of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund’s work in creating, piloting, and improving community-based interventions aimed at enhancing the quality of life for children and young people in South Africa. Through the generous donation of Voyager miles by their customers, the Fund has been able to facilitate essential travel for our program managers, enabling them to execute our initiatives effectively across various regions. These miles have been instrumental in the Fund reaching communities, implementing programs, and fostering sustainable development.

Youth Leadership Programme

The youth leadership program of the Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund has utilised the voyager program to transport and support the implementation of several programs.

Our coding and robotics training given to Primary School learners in partnership with Unisa has been implemented across two provinces. Secondly, the Nelson Mandela Childrens Parliament held annually each year has also been supported through the Voyager programme. Children across the nine provinces are transported to annual settings. The Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund ran a training programme where young people were taught not only to advocate for their rights but also to monitor and evaluate children’s programs.
