If a minimum of 6 000 (six thousand) Tier Miles were flown on SAA operated flights for the period 1 January to 31 December preceding the date of expiry, miles will not expire.
If a Lifetime Platinum member spends a minimum of R300 000 (three hundred thousand Rand) on the SAA Voyager credit or cheque card during the period January to December preceding the date of expiry, miles will not expire.
When one of these thresholds have been achieved, bonus miles with a validity of one (1) year equalling the total number of miles due to expire, will be awarded (reinstated) on 1 April.
If members did not achieve one of the above thresholds and have miles due to expire, miles must be used before 31 March.
To prevent your miles from expiring on 31 March 2024, you only need to have one accrual or redemption activity during the 2023 calendar year.
