Most importantly, December is the time for festivity, holidays and relaxation with family and friends.

Not only does October mark the beginning of the festive season with a quarter of 2024 left to count down before year end, but it’s also Breast Cancer Awareness Month: a time when we turn our attention to this disease that affects so many women. Our message all of October is to be aware of breast cancer, to conduct breast self-examination and to book a mammogram if you’ve not had one in a while. Early detection saves lives!

This month South Africans celebrate Women’s Month, acknowledging the significant role that women have played and continue to play across every aspect of society. Voyager’s invitation to everyone in August is to use this month to admire, appreciate and acknowledge the women close to us. At SAA it’s been a fantastic first three quarters of 2023; from launching new routes to Brazil and Abidjan, the capital of Cote D’Ivoire, through to a growing tally of customer compliments. It’s been a good year to date, and we appreciate being able to share it with you.

Extension of Miles due to expiry on 31 March 2026

You can now extend your miles due to expire on 31 March 2026 at a cost of R140 for a 1000 miles. Miles will be extended for an additional year and must be extended before the expiry date.

Purchase of Miles

Currently when you have insufficient miles for a flight award, you are able to purchase miles at a cost of R250 for 1000 miles. The good news is that you will only pay R100 for a 1000 miles when purchasing miles for an SAA flight award. For any other airline award the price remains at R250 for a 1000 miles.
